New regulation starting 8th June 2020 to fly in Indonesia

Starting 8th June 2020, all people can back to travelling using flight in Indonesia. Here’s some rules that have to pay attention:

  1. Wear mask and bring own hand sanitizer, physical distancing and always wash your hand.
  2. Identity card (original)
  3. PCR Test valid for 7 days or Rapid Test valid for 3 days, with negative result or non-reactive result. (For Denpasar Bali, Balikpapan, Lombok, Surabaya, Padang, Timika and Jayapura must use PCR Test valid 7 days)
  4. Health Statement letter from hospital for free from illness for those area that didn’t provide PCR Test or rapid test.
  5. Download PeduliLindungi application.
  6. For going abroad, you have to take PCR Test valid for 7 days.

Penerbangan Domestik

Surat Keterangan Sehat Bebas dari COVID-19; setiap penumpang harus memenuhi persyaratan kesehatan dan harus memiliki surat keterangan sehat baik untuk pergi maupun pulang yang diperoleh dari dokter rumah sakit, puskesmas, atau klinik.

  • Surat Keterangan Tes Reverse Transcription–Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR), dengan hasil non reaktif/negatif/ pada periode maksimum 7 hari sebelum keberangkatan.
  • Surat Keterangan uji Rapid Test dengan hasil non reaktif/negatif pada periode maksimum 3 hari sebelum keberangkatan.
  • Surat Keterangan bebas gejala seperti influenza (influenza – like illness), bagi daerah yang tidak memiliki fasilitas PCR Test atau Rapid Test.

  • Selama waktu tunggu hasil pemeriksaan PCR Test, setiap orang wajib menjalani karantina di tempat akomodasi karantina khuusus yang telah disediakan oleh pemerintah.
  • Mengunduh dan mengaktifkan aplikasi Peduli Lindungi pada perangkat seluler.

Pemeriksaan Sebelum Keberangkatan

  • Penumpang wajib datang lebih awal (minimal 3 jam sebelum keberangkatan) dan membawa dokumen perjalanan asli untuk dilakukan verifikasi data sebelum check-in.
  • Sriwijaya Air tidak bertanggung jawab atas kesalahan atau kekurangan dokumen persyaratan dan berhak untuk membatalkan penerbangan penumpang.

Domestic Flights

Health Certificate negativ COVID-19; each passenger must meet health requirements and must have a health certificate both for going and back home obtained from a hospital doctor, health center, or clinic.

  • Certificate of Reverse Transcription-Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) Test, with non-reactive / negative results / for a maximum period of 7 days before departure.
  • Certificate of Rapid Test test with non-reactive / negative results in a maximum period of 3 days before departure.
  • Symptom-free Certificate such as influenza (influenza – like illness), for areas that do not have PCR Test or Rapid Test facilities.

Going back to Indonesia from Abroad

  • Every individual who comes from abroad must carry out a PCR Test at the time of arrival if they cannot show the results of the PCR Test from the country of departure.
  • Examination of PCR Tests for trips of foreign arrivals are excluded from PLBN (Post-State Border Posts) which do not have PCR equipment, by conducting a rapid test and showing a certificate of symptom-free such as influenza (influenza-like illness), as well as being excluded for commuter trips through PLBN by showing a certificate of symptoms-free like (influenza-like illness) issued by the Hospital Doctor / Health Authority.
  • During the waiting time for PCR Test results, each person must undergo quarantine at the special quarantine accommodation provided by the government.
  • Download and activate the Pedulilindungi application on a mobile device.

Pre-Departure Screening Check

  • Passengers are required to arrive early (at least 3 hours before departure) and bring original travel documents for data verification before check-in.
  • Sriwijaya Air is not responsible for errors or lack of required documents and has the right to cancel passenger flights.
  • Tickets that do not meet the requirements follow internal regulations in Sriwijaya Air.

INDONESIA DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

AirAsia is working closely with regulators, local governments, civil aviation and health authorities to step up all precautionary measures in the time of COVID-19 global outbreak. All guests are required to present the following documents:

DOMESTIC TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

All domestic guests are required to present the following documents before departure:

  1. Personal identification (KTP/ Passport).
    1. Health certificate in English that proves a Covid-19 negative RT-PCR result and is valid for a maximum of 7 days after its issuance by the health facility in the country of origin or non reactive Rapid Test results that is valid for 3 days or Health certificate showing no flu-like symptoms issued by a medical doctor from a hospital or public health facility for areas without PCR test/ rapid test facilities.
    2. Fill out an electronic health awareness card (e-HAC) before boarding. Please access via the e-HAC Indonesia application (Android) or http://sinkarkes.kemkes.go.id/ehac.
    3. Fill out AirAsia’s travel declaration form, please download here.
    4. Guests with flights to or from Jakarta must obtain entry permit or Surat Izin Keluar Masuk (SIKM) via https://corona.jakarta.go.id/id/izin-keluar-masuk-jakarta#11sektor
    5. Guests with Bali as end destination are required to present COVID-19 PCR results (not Rapid Test) with negative/ non reactive results to enter Bali, and complete this form https://cekdiri.baliprov.go.id/ 
    6. Required additional documents for guests who are eligible to travel (in accordance with COVID-19 Task Force Circular Letter Number 5 Year 2020):
  • Person working for the government or private institutions providing services related to COVID-19 mitigation, defense, security, social order, health, basic necessities, basic service support, or essential economic function
  1. A letter of assignment for civil servants, Indonesian National Armed Forces,  Indonesian National Police Corps signed by at least echelon 2 level officials.
  2. A Letter of assignment for employees of State/Regional-Owned Enterprises, Non-government institutions, and Business Institutions signed by the Directors/ Heads of Offices.
  3. Health certificate of either Reverse Transcription – Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) showing negative result valid for 7 days or Rapid Test showing non-reactive result valid for 3 days on departure.
  4. Health certificate showing no flu-like symptoms issued by a medical doctor from a hospital or public health facility for areas without PCR test/ rapid test facilities.
  5. A letter of statement affixed with a stamp duty signed by local headman for those who do not represent government or private institutions.
  6. Self identification card (National ID Card, or other valid official IDs)
  7. Present itinerary (departure date, schedules while in the assignment area, and return date).
  • Patients who need emergency health services or people whose immediate family member (parents, husband/wife, child, sibling) is seriously ill or died
  1. Self identification card (National ID Card, or other valid official IDs);
  2. An official death certificate;
  3. Referral letter from the hospital for a patient or person with serious illness;
  4. Health certificate of either Reverse Transcription – Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) test showing negative result valid for 7 days or Rapid Test showing non-reactive result valid for 3 days on departure for family accompanying patient, person with serious illness, or the deceased; or
  5. Health certificate showing no flu-like symptoms issued by a medical doctor from a hospital or public health facility for areas without PCR test/ rapid test facilities.
  • Repatriation of Indonesian migrant workers, Indonesian citizens and students abroad, as well as the repatriation of people for special reasons by the government to their area of origin
  1. Self identification card (National ID Card, or other valid official IDs);
  2. Statement letter from the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Agency (BPPMI) or statement letter from Indonesian representative offices abroad for Indonesian migrant workers;
  3. Statement letter issued by University or School for students abroad;
  4. Health certificate of either Reverse Transcription – Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) test showing negative result valid for 7 days or Rapid Test showing non-reactive result valid for 3 days on departure;
  5. Abiding all regulations on repatriation procedure of Indonesian Migrant Workers, Indonesian citizens, and Indonesian students abroad, and repatriation of people for special reasons by the government to their area of origin.

FLIGHT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Your health and safety is always our top priority. To ensure that the highest standards of safety and hygiene are maintained at all times, here are some of the safety measures AirAsia is taking on the ground and in the air:

  • Wear a face mask at all times

All guests are required to bring and wear their own masks before, during and after the flight, including during check in and bag collection. Guests without a mask will be denied boarding. 

  • Temperature screening

Temperature screening will take place at different checkpoints, including boarding gates. Cabin crew will also go through temperature checks after every shift.

  • Social distancing

Social distancing will be observed with floor markers at queuing areas, including check-in counters & kiosks. And another safety precaution will be alternate check-in counters to ensure sufficient distance, and we are also working to have contactless check-in processes as well. 

  • Web or mobile check-in and early arrival at the airport

Web or mobile check-in to reduce surface and physical contact in check-in and boarding processes. In addition, please arrive early at the airport – preferably 5 hours before departure – to allow for enough time for all the necessary processes to take place. Check-in kiosks and manual check in counters are still available.

  • Cabin baggage policy

We also have a new cabin baggage policy to facilitate social distancing especially during embarkation and disembarkation. You are allowed to bring onboard only one piece of carry-on bag that does not exceed 40cm (Height) x 30cm (Width) x 10cm (Length), such as laptop bag and hand bag, not exceeding 7 kg for each guest. Luggage with more than the permitted cabin baggage limits must be checked in. This will help minimise unwanted contact between you and another guest’s baggage and vice versa. AirAsia provides free baggage allowance for domestic flights up to 15kg per passenger.

  • Pre-book your hot meals online

Inflight hot meals are not available for purchase onboard. You can pre-book your meals by logging into My Bookings at least 24 hours before your flight departure time. Only limited items such as chips, nuts, chocolate, and canned or bottled water will be available for sale onboard.

  • Aircraft cleaning

All of our aircraft go through regular disinfection procedures, which have been ramped up and enhanced in light of what we’re facing right now.

The cleaning, sanitising and disinfecting products that we use to clean our aircraft are all approved by the Public Health Authority as well as the aircraft manufacturer, which is Airbus in our case. All of our aircraft use HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Arresters) aircraft filtration system which filters 99.999% of dust particles and airborne contaminants such as viruses and bacteria.

Garuda Indonesia ensures that it fully supports the Indonesian Government policy as well as local governments in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia which stated in:

  • Ministry of Transportation Regulation No. 25 of 2020 concerning Transportation Control during the Eid Al-Fitr Season in the framework of prevention the spread of COVID-19

  • Ministry of Health letter SE No. HK.02.01/MENKES/313/2020 concerning Health Protocol for Handling the Return of Indonesian Citizens & Arrival of Foreigners in the State Entrance and PSBB Regions

Categories of people that are allowed to travel are as follows:

  1. International Flight
    • Outbound Indonesia: requirements should refer to the state destination provision of the authorities which are provided on the IATA Travel Center here.
    • Inbound Indonesia: Exemption policy of foreigners that are allowed to enter Indonesian territory refers to the Regulation of Minister of Law and Human Rights No.11 of 2020, click the button  Travel Restrictions to Indonesia below for detailed information.
      While there are no restrictions for Indonesian Citizens if it follows the document requirements.
  2. Domestic Flight
    • A person who works for Government Organization or Private Sectors who perform these services:
        –  COVID-19 Handling Acceleration Services
        –  National Defense, Security & Public Order Services
        –  Health Care Services
        –  Basic Needs Services & Support
        –  Key Economic Function Services
    • Patients who need urgent health care/a person whose imminent family member is seriously ill
    • Condolences visit to an imminent family member
    • Special repatriation flight operations for the repatriation of Foreign Citizens, Indonesian Migrant Workers, Indonesian Citizens, Indonesian Students or special repatriation with government permits to a domestic destination 

People who are eligible to travel as above are required to provide the documents as follows based on their category and destination upon traveling.

  1. Travel Endorsement from a Company/Institution
    • Public Civil Servants, Indonesian Army, Indonesian Police Force
      > Statement Letter to fulfill official duties/business trip that is authorized by the Official (min. Echelon 2)
      > Report of travel itinerary (departure schedule, activity rundown on the destination, return schedule
    • Employees of: State-Owned Enterprises, Regional Owned Enterprises, Task Forces, Non-Government Organization/Enterprises

    • Repatriation of Indonesian citizens, special repatriation with government permits to a domestic destination
      > Reference Letter from Indonesian Government Representatives
    • Repatriation of Indonesian Students abroad, special repatriation with government permits to a domestic destination
      > Reference Letter from University or School
    • Repatriation of Foreign Citizens from domestic destination with the country of origin as the end destination
      > The end destination is required to be the same as passport domicile
  2. Travel Statement Letter in Accordance with COVID-19 Control in Indonesia Can be downloaded and filled out here
  3. Health Certificate with a non-reactive Rapid Test result
    in Bahasa Indonesia or English with maximum 3 days validity from the health facility issuance. If the Health Certificate as required on the above table cannot be provided by the passenger, there will be consequences and actions taken based on the airport authority measures.
  4. Health Certificate with a negative PCR/Swab Test result
    With a maximum 7 days validity from the health facility issuance.
    – Domestic Flight: in Bahasa Indonesia or English
    – International flight: in English
    If the Health Certificate as required on the above table cannot be provided by the passenger, there will be consequences and actions taken based on the airport authority measures.
  5. Bali Health Alert Form This form is required for all passengers with I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport (DPS) as the end destination, it can be accessed on Bali local government page here.
  6. DKI Jakarta Entry/Exit Permit (SIKM) This letter is required for all passengers with Soekarno Hatta International Airport (CGK) as the end destination. More information regarding this permit can be accessed on DKI Jakarta local government page here.

Passengers are expected to prepare a copy and original copy of the documents prior to arrival at the departure airport and present it upon check-in. Garuda Indonesia is not responsible for any lack or mistake on any of the required documents and has the right to cancel the flight of any passenger that does not meet the requirement.

Policy for Passengers to Wear Masks Onboard & in Airport Area
Garuda Indonesia requires passengers to put on a reusable non-medical mask at the airport and during flight.
Garuda Indonesia also urges passengers to prepare their own masks as well as own personal hygiene kits according to their individual needs before the flight.

Electronic Health Alert Card
Passengers with a flight destined to Indonesia and domestic flights within Indonesia are required to fill a Health Alert Card. For more convenience, now it is also available E-HAC (Electronic Health Alert Card) app for Android (see Playstore for download / link in Garuda Website). For those who don’t have the E-HAC app, Health Alert Card will be given on-board before landing.

2014 KGSP-Graduate – The document package hasn’t arrived yet… :(

Because I’m out of town, so I don’t know if the Shipping company send the documents to my travel agency or not yet. But when I tracked it at the evening, it said that 3 o’clock at the evening, they just received from Jakarta.

I think, they will send it tomorrow. So, tomorrow morning, I will call them and ask them if the documents on the office or not. If the documents was on the office, I will pick it up by myself.

2014 KGSP-Graduate – Using Sworn Translator and Notary for Notarized the Documents

This morning I send the birth certificate scan copy to Mitra Penerjemah (http://mitrapenerjemah.com). And they said, it needs 1 to 2 days. But I ask them for 1 days. And they will try it.

And today I also decided to go to Notary at my hometown to get the degree and transcript notarized. The fee is 150.000 IDR for 4 page. (It’s cheaper than using legalized service).
I search the notary using google, and found 2 listed notary near my locations.

I go to the first, but pitily, the notary not at the desk because she is not Magelang person.

So I go to the second, and she willingly to give the notarized.



And after 1 hours, the documents has been notarized.

But how to give it to the Embassy? OMG~~~~~ I decided to ask Mitra Penerjemah first.

The Mitra Penerjemah said, that I have to legalized it at the University if I want to notarized it at Embassy. It’s not enough if only with notary.

So, I decided to try the worst. I send the email to Ms Kim and attached the notarized documents by notary, and ask her to receive it first before I notarized them at Embassy.

And now, I just can wait for the reply and received the worst. I thought if they still wants the documents notarized by Embassy, then I just try to go to university to legalized or give up. Because I read some KGSP Scholarship Students (http://ahmadnasikun.wordpress.com/2013/01/26/tips-and-tricks-for-kgsp-korean-government-scholarship-program-part-2/) that there’s no problem to notarized the documents only by notary.





At the evening, Ms Kim answer my email. She said that she received the documents, and will subtitute it temprorary until I send the original documents. Wait.. What? What’s that mean? If I’m not wrong, it means, that the notarized document by notary was accepted. OMG~~~.. So I don’t have to bring it to the embassy. Yipeee… I’m so happy.

She said, she will wait for the original even it’s already over the deadlines, but the most important is before the interview.

And I can’t wait to send it to them soon. Just wait for the birth certificate now.

2014 KGSP-Graduate – The documents has been arrived at Sookmyung Women’s University

Now I just wait for the university to notice me via email. A lot of people said that they will notice us if they received the documents.

Renew My Passport (2) 2014 – Photo and Interview for my New Passport # Indonesia

Today, I went to Yogya to take photo and interview for my new passport. Yesterday, my brother has already made the payment at Bank BNI. And they give us the report. One was for the immigration office, and the copy was for us.

After arrive at Immigration office, we took the queue number for Photo and Interview. We got D95, and when we arrived, it’s just D24. Haha… Waiting for 70 people. T_T

But it took only approximately 1 hour. And after give the report of payment and appointment report to photo and interview to the locket, then we wait to be called.

First call is for Photo.
– No Glasses
– The ear must be shown on the photo.
– No bangs

After took the photo, then we scan our finger and wait again for the interview.

Second call is for interview.
Usually, the interviewer ask us about our identify (birthdate, our mother’s name, where do we live, what’s the purpose of making passport, etc). But, this time, no questions. They only ask me to check the name and birthdate. Then sign if it’s true.

Then they give us another report to take passport on March 19th, 2014, 3 workdays from the date we took photo and interview. Actually, at their website, it said, that 4 workdays after the date we took photo and interview, we can take the passport.

So, wait for another 1 week, then our passport will be available and can be used. 🙂

2014 KGSP-Graduate – Send the Document to Sookmyung Women’s University

Today, I plan to send the document for KGSP Program to Sookmyung Women’s University, Seoul ~ South Korea.

– CheckList for Application Documents : OK (1 original + 3 copy)

– Application Form Korean University : OK (1 original + 3 copy)

– Introductions : OK (1 original + 3 copy)

– Study Plan and Future Plan : OK (1 original + 3 copy)

– Letters of Recommendation : OK (1 original only, because it sealed by the Profesor that I requested for Recommendation Letter. Don’t worry, the University will help us to copy another 3 copy)

– Pledge : OK (1 original + 3 copy)

– Personal Medical Assestment : OK (1 original + 3 copy)

– Degree & Transcript : OK (1 original + 3 copy) –> My degree and transcript was already at English, so I didn’t have to translate it. But I haven’t notarized it yet, because I don’t know how to notarized at Korean Embassy (the University ask me to notarized them at Korean Embassy when the 2014 KGSP Notice come out, and I send the email to them to make sure).

– ID Passport : OK (1 original + 3 copy)

– Parent’s ID (Passport) : OK (1 original + 3 copy) –> Put it inside small envelope, and marked the envelope as “Copy of Parent’s Passport”, because at the application documents, it didn’t give any information about your parents. This ID was used only to prove that you are not Korean.

– my CV : OK (1 original + 3 copy)

So everything is ready. I make the original put a transparant plastic and put inside 1 envelope. And the other 3 copy, each set put them at transparant plastic, and put all 3 set at 1 envelope. And I marked the envelope as Original & 3 set of copy.

Then put them together inside another envelope.

Don’t fold the documents, just let it 1 full page. So you need a big envelope.

I used airmail envelope to put all of them together, and use chocolate envelope with smaller size then the airmail so that they can fit inside the airmail envelope.

Just try to make everything nice, so when they open it, they will have 1st good reaction.

Write the address using computer and print it.

I use EMS to send the documents. It cost less than 200.000 IDR for approximately 400 to 500gram weight from my hometown. And it tooks 5 to 7 days.
