Kuala Lumpur & Bandar Sunway D3 # Malaysia

Woke up late today, we start our day at 11:00. We ate breakfast at instant restaurant again. This time, I try their BBQ with rice.

Our destination today is near KLCC. It’s Aquaria KLCC. I have never been there before because everytime I want to go there, I always lost way. And it happen again, but this time I took a wrong path.

In the Kuala Lumpur map which we can take in airport, we could walk from Pavilion Bukit Bintang, through Bukit Bintang-KLCC skybridge only for 5 minutes.

I didn’t see it first, and we ride monorail to Bukit Nanas.

Arrive at Bukit Nanas station, I just realize it. So we decided to walk to the sky bridge. We go out at Ampang Road and walk to the right. We passed Hard Rock restaurant, Concorde Hotel and also Sheraton Hotel.

In front of Sheraton Hotel, there’s an intersection, cross the road to the left and then walk straight. In the middle of the road, turn right until you see the sky bridge. Then took the elevator, and walk to the right until the end of the sky bridge and you will arrive at KLCC building. The aquaria is in that building at underground.

The ticket entrance to Aquaria is MYR 53/pax. It’s quiet expensive I think, because the area is not too big too. For student, there’s special price to MYR 32/pax.

I didn’t have a change to take picture of the ticket, we used the ticket to enter and it’s gone haha..

After pass a small path, we come to a big aquarium.

There’s some feeding show, but the time is not convenient. But we managed to watched big aquarium feeding and piranha feeding session.

We spend almost 4 hours inside there. Then after come out, we went to KLCC Petronas Twin Tower and Suria KLCC mall. It’s my 3rd time come here.

We eat lunch (or maybe evening eating because it’s alreay 5 o’clock in the evening) at Nando’s.

Then we walk around the mall while waiting for night. At 19:30, we go to KLCC Park and waiting for the musical laser fountain. That time, the fountain already dancing.

The musical fountain will play at 12:00 and 14:00 and also 18:00 before night. And at night, the light will turn on at 19:30 and the fountain will play at 20:00, 21:00 and 22:00.At 20:00 the music started. It’s beautiful.

It took for 20 minutes for the show. After finished, we go back to hotel using monorail. From KLCC to Dang Wangi then walk to Bukit Nanas Monorail and ride until Imbi Station.

Sungei Wang Hotel # Kuala Lumpur – Malaysia

Because the flight to go to Indonesia from South Korea by Airasia, transit in Kuala Lumpur and we have to stay 1 night in Kuala Lumpur, so we decided to explore Kuala Lumpur for 1 night. Arrive at KLIA2, we go to Sungei Wang Hotel by Taxi.

This is my 2nd time stay in here.

The hotel located in the middle of Bukit Bintang Road so it’s easy to eat and walk around because there’s so many restaurant and mall nearby

The hotel is budget hotel, and clean. Even the room is small, but it’s enough just for sleep.

Sungei Wang Hotel at Bukit Bintang # Kuala Lumpur – Malaysia

This time, I choose Sungei Wang hotel at Bukit Bintang for our stay. It close to Bukit Bintang, which famous area of shopping and eating.

Website: http://www.sungeiwanghotel-kualalumpur.com/

The hotel really located in the middle of shopping and culinary area, and it’s easy to reach there. You can stop at Bukit Bintang Monorail Station or Kuala Lumpur Sentral Station.

The hotel was nice, there’s money changer right next to the hotel. The receptionist staff was nice, and friendly. She help us with the fast check-in. We ask for extra bed, but they didn’t prepare it yet even we already ask and paid for it. So we have to wait for a while.

The room was clean, and OK. And it’s not too expensive too. I would like to stay in this hotel again if I came to KL for transit 1 / 2 nights.

Sungei Wang Plaza & Alor Street Food # Kuala Lumpur – Malaysia

We go back to Bukit Bintang, and go to Sungei Wang Plaza to eat dinner. (Web: http://www.sungeiwang.com/). Once again, it’s hard to looking for the foodcourt because the sign inside the mall was confusing. But at last, we found it. And guess what, that time there’s a bonus buy 1 get 1 for Nasi Lemak. So we decided to eat that. It is really cheap. πŸ˜€

After eating dinner, we explore the mall but most of them are closed already because it’s already 9 o’clock at night. Then we decided the next morning to explore the mall again.

We go back to the hotel, but then decided to go to Alor Street because my uncle wants to looking for Karaoke Mandarin VCD. Alor street is the famous food street in Kuala Lumpur.

If you patient enough, you can looking for dinner in here. There’s soooo many food here. We also bought durian.
(See: http://www.wonderfulmalaysia.com/food/jalan-alor-food-street.htm)

After walking around, we didn’t found any booth that sell karaoke VCD. They only sell drama series and movie. So we go back to the hotel for rest.

Good night… πŸ™‚
