Woke up at 3 o’clock, and go to Borobudur Temple at 4 o’clock. Me, my brother, and my brother’s girlfriend also my brother’s friends went to Setumbu to watch sunrise. Punthuk Setumbu located near Borobudur Temple. You can see the sunrise with background Borobudur Temple, Mount Merapi, and Mount Merbabu.
Don’t forget to bring tripod to take photos.
The ticket entrance is IDR 15.000 for local. And we have to walk uphill for a while. Use comfortable shoes and bring flashlight because it’s still dark. Wear jacket too because it’s cold.
Once arrived at Punthuk Setumbu, there’s so many people in there. Most of them are tourists.
Unfortunately, it’s cloudy. So the sunrise didn’t shown enough.
And the morning fog started to cover whole area, so we have to go back.
